- We describe motherhood as something weak people could do, staying at home all day, baking cookies, washing dishes and doing homework with the kids. But in an evolutionary sense, motherhood was never about this. We were no cave ladies. Motherhood is about protecting your kids at all costs, to kill, fight and sacrifice for your offspring, to show them how to survive and teaching them about life like bear mamas do.
- We see the duties of men and women as too binary. Women have to do that, men that. It should be more like working together at shared tasks than doing alone work on your given tasks.
- To say humans should have more rights than animals because they are more intelligent and simultaneously treating people with mental disabilities equal to intelligent people is a logical fallacy.
- Sexists hate feminists but confirm every statement they ever made about society.
- Because the speed of light is limited, we always see the past because information in the form of light needs a certain time to reach our retina and be processed by our brain. Noone ever lives in the present.
- How would I try to survive, if I was ever drifting in the ocean, not knowing when help will arrive? I would not swim but just lay straight at the top of the water surface and only swim when I am getting too cold, so I won’t lose too much energy. It can take days until they find me. I don’t know if that is smart, so do not take it as advice.
- It’s harassment when the person is unattractive to you but a flirt when he/she is attractive to you. That makes no sense. Is harassment depending on feelings or the action? I’d say the action.
- Physicists claim the universe is NOT infinite, but at the same time, the universe is expanding at an accelerating rate. Where the hell are we expanding at then?
- Let’s say us humans indeed had a soul. This soul would be dependent on the body. I mean, it can only operate within the space of our body. If our body dies, religious people claim the soul lives on, not being dependent on the body. Without the soul, the body decompensate and is therefore dependent on the soul. So what now? Do we have a codependency or not? Is the body dependent on the soul but the soul not on the body? That makes no sense.
- The situation in Ukraine is heartbreaking, but why on earth is no one apologizing to the Iraqis, for instance, who had been invaded by the US?
- Conservatives approve with traditional role models. They also approve with capitalism. Tradition tells us, men have to provide for their families, thus putting them under pressure to make money. Capitalism is a system of low social mobility and strong hierarchies, competition thus making it harder for men to succeed on the market and provide. So basically misery for men is pushed by conservatives, not from the woke people.
- Could AI find a way to experience love by adopting the ability of trust from humans?
- People draw a lot of penises on walls but no vaginas. Is that sexist or would drawing vaginas on walls be sexist?
- Women are better at aiming than men, which actually has an evolutionary causality. However, does that mean, if we could pee standing, we would miss less often than men?
- Energy is only transported in discrete “portions”. The universe has a structure, works in formulas, and nothing seems to be arbitrary. Is a designer behind this? That is called the teological argument. Or maybe we all are causality reductionists and couldn’t think of the idea that some things are just correlation and not causality.
